Britney Spears is dead. That is a claim of some hackers. Some Hackers have broadcast fraud information about celebrities like Britney Spears and Ellen DeGeneres after breaking into their Twitpic accounts.The singer was just the victim of yet another Twitter hack over the weekend, along with talk-show host/ comedian Ellen DeGeneres. According to The Associated Press, hackers broke into Spears’ and DeGeneres’ Twitpic accounts and sent out fake messages, including one that said Britney was dead.
“Britney has passed today,” one of the fake messages said. “It is a sad day for everyone. More news to come.”
Twitpic is a program that allows users of Twitter to share photographs. It is not owned by Twitter Inc. The Internet messaging system shut down part of its service after the hacking was discovered Sunday because of what the Charleston, S.C.-based company described as a "vulnerability" in the mobile posting system.
