David Beckham named his son after Tom Cruise's name

David Beckham's wife Victoria Beckham and Tom Cruise's wife Katie Holmes have a very tight friendship. It has now even been revealed that the couple David and Victoria Beckham actually took their son's middle name "Cruise" from Tom, is not it funny!!

In David Beckham'slatest book "The Beckham experiment" are David and Victoria trying to explain their special relation to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.Writer Grant Wahl claims Cruise has influenced "every major decision" Beckham has made since the two met in 2003.

David told writer Grant Wahl for his book ‘The Beckham Experiment’, “I must admit, when Victoria and I met Tom, I remember turning around to Victoria and saying, ‘Cruise is a great name, but we could spell it different.’ And also, living in Spain, Cruz is spelled the way it is in Spanish. So that’s why we got it.”

He also stated that while Tom and Katie are Scientologists, he and Victoria prefer to practice their own beliefs.

“It’s something I respect, because Tom’s explained to me and Victoria what it’s all about. But he’s never turned around and said, ‘That is what you should be doing,’ because he would never do that. He and Katie have their beliefs … but me and Victoria have also got our own.”

Akshay Kumar is riding Tom Cruise's bike in 'Kambakkht Ishq'

Mumbai, Jun 14 (PTI) Bollywood's own 'daredevil' Akshay Kumar met the machine of his match when he shot with Tom Cruise's 'Mission Impossible' bike for Sajid Nadiadwala's multi-starrer 'Kambakkht Ishq'.

"There was a scene shot with Akshay Kumar recently. The actor has used Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible bike. Sajid also hired action director Franco Soleman who created Tom Cruises stunt," a source on the sets of the film said.

American actress Denise Richards's cameo was shot in another Hollywood bombshell Jessica Alba's swimming pool.

"It is a well known fact that Denise Richards makes her Bollywood debut in Kambakkht Ishq. Few know that her introductory scene was shot at Jessica Alba's pool. Jessica was present too. It was quite a thing to have two of the hottest women around," the unit member revealed.

Nadiadwala, the film's producer, has left no stone turned to get the best for his biggest release this year, with an international star cast and exotic locales.

'Kambakkht Ishq' releasing on July 3 is one of the most awaited films this year and has Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in the lead. Adding to the star cast are Hollywood A-listers like Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and former Bond girl Denise Richards, who plays herself in the movie.[collected from: www.ptinews.com]
