SIMON COWELL SAID,"SUSAN BOYLE'S ALBUM WILL SURPRISE YOU"

I think you know Susan Boyle of Britain's got talent and i also think you know Simon Cowell the producer of susan boyles new album.
"We're not going to throw out some souvenir album of show tunes which everyone expect[s]," Cowell, who judged the Scottish singing sensation on the reality series, tells Extra. "We went through about 350 to 400 songs to choose from. She was blown away by some of the song choices...She's going to surprise a lot of people with this record."

In the weeks since coming in second to all-male dance troupe Diversity on the show's May 30 finale, Boyle, 48, was hospitalized for exhaustion at a London clinic -- but show insiders insist she's recovering well and focused on the new album, set for a fall release.

"She needs to get away from everyone -- get away from the show, from the media, the public, and just have a bit of down time to herself," Talent judge Piers Morgan told U.K.'s GMTV morning show at the time.

Cowell agrees, telling Extra the single Boyle -- who lives with her cat, Pebbles -- is taking things slow in the studio as she adjusts to fame.

"You got to understand this lady had lived alone with a cat for years and years and years and she was really, literally, the most famous person on the planet," he says.

American Idol: Simon Cowell is negotiating for £100 million for sining contract

Simon Cowell is negotiating a $100million-a-year American Idol contract to establish him as the highest paid star in TV history.By sealing the US deal with Fox, Cowell will quadruple his current 25million pounds a year, which means that he would rake in a whopping 2.2million pounds an hour on screen.

“The word went out from on high to pay Simon what he needs,” said a FOX insider.

“Without him the show would be a shadow of itself. And without American Idol we’re in the dumper.”

But Simon Cowell is denying recent reports that he has been offered $144 million to stay on with 'American Idol' past next season.

"I wish! Come off it," Simon tells 'Extra'. "It's absolute nonsense... crazy, crazy nonsense. It's just speculation. Not true. Nothing has been signed."

"There hasn't been a deal done. But we're talking to Fox and we have a very good relationship with them. As to what we're going to do ongoing over a number of different bits and pieces... we'll see... we are having conversations."
