American Idol 2009 Live tour tickets are on sell from today

American Idol Tickets for the American Idol 2009 Live tour go on sale at 10 am Saturday for American Idols Live !American Idol top 10 contestants Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai, Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud, Megan Joy, Michael Sarver are heading to BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise for the American Idols Live! Tour on July 29. Wellington band Hey Monday’s profile is rising and rising nationally. Now that you have the American Idol presale password, you can get a ticket through ticketmaster for a show in your area. Tickets are between $40 and $70. Make sure you have your credit card number ready to purchase American Idol tickets.

American Idol: Adam Lambert's performence in Rock Week "Whole Lotta Love"

American Idol is down to the top three. Adam Lambert is a black sheep in "rock and roll" performances. He performed "Whole lotta love" and its still in the zone Allison Iraheta the only female contestant going home this evening. Before starting, host Ryan Seacrest noted that there had been 64 million votes cast this week, more than any non-final Idol week in the show’s history. Kris Allen was the first contestant to be told he was safe, leaving three contestants for two spots. Adam Lambert had the next safe call, a great recovery from his bottom three last week. Then it came down to Danny Gokey and Allison, with Allison being shown the door.

American Idol: No Doubt and DAUGHTRY are going to sing at 'American Idol'

American Idol is continuously surprising us. Recently i came to know that No Doubt and DAUGHTRY are going to sing at 'American Idol'."American Idol" viewers will soon enjoy live performances from No Doubt and DAUGHTRY as those bands have been confirmed to sing at the hit reality TV show. They will take the Idol stage on Wednesday, May 6 during its result show. 

The Chris Daughtry-fronted band are set to perform "No Surprise", the lead single off their upcoming but not-yet-titled album, at the Ryan Seacrest-hosted show. But, there are no words just yet on what song will be performed by Gwen Stefani and her friends.

As for No Doubt, the band will be hitting the road with Paramore, starting on May 16 in Las Vegas aside from their scheduled performance at "American Idol". In addition, they are cooking up new materials for their new album just like what DAUGHTRY are doing in the meantime.

"American Idol" itself still has four contestants left. They are Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, Allison Iraheta and Danny Gokey. In a bid to give an impressive performance for the show's rock-themed episode, they will be guided by Velvet Revolver's guitarist Slash, who is the former member of Guns N' Roses.

Americam Idol: Anoop Desai is going grad school for music

Anoop Desai who is 22 years old and rejected from TV talent show "American Idol" said on Thursday he was leaving behind his graduate school studies to pursue a career in the music industry.he was returning to college in North Carolina, where he was doing a post-graduate course in folklore before auditioning for the show, Desai told reporters.

"I am definitely going to pursue a music career. Singing is what I am the happiest doing. It's what I do the best," the political science and American studies graduate said in a telephone conference call.

"I want to go the pop and R&B round...I am looking forward to making that album," he said, adding he was a fan of American singer-songwriter Ne-Yo.

Desai, nicknamed "Noop Dogg" by fans, has drawn a huge army of fans in India -- where "American Idol" is broadcast -- as well as in the United States.

His computer software designer father was born in India and his biochemist mother, who is also of Indian descent, was born in South Africa.
